Here's to wabi-sabi women!



We love both the beauty of imperfection and the natural transience of all things that a wabi-sabi world view celebrates.  And we especially love it when we see it take root in unexpected places. 

Like what makes a woman beautiful.

So, when we heard about Ari Cohen’s AdvancedStyle.com, where he posts updates on ‘the most stylish and creative older folks’ he finds while roaming the streets of NYC, we got VERY excited.

    I LOVE those stacked bracelets! And my opinion of the women and "plus size" ladies is that they're beautiful. (Doesn't hurt that I'm both plus size AND old!!!) We need to get America into the idea of wabi-sabi so they treasure us old (fashionable) broads, and we don't have to fill our faces full of heavens knows what like the Hollywood stars do. Are you with me ladies? and gents?
